TrainSafe
TrainSafe is developed by RailSoft in cooperation with the Danish Railway Authority (»Banestyrelsen«). The purpose being to supply a pc based training system so lightweight that it will run on virtually any Windows pc.

This makes it possible for the students to train the safety rules of the railway at their own pace and even in their own homes if so desired.

TrainSafe is presently in use also by the 13 Danish private railways.

Basicly TrainSafe offers of a multiple choise section and a section of interactive excercises.

Obviously railway safety rules differ, so TrainSafe's database is open for the instructor to edit, delete or author new questions and exercices.

The builin authoring-tool makes it ease for instructors
to keep the database up to date.

The user interface in TrainSafe features means for the student to keep track of his or hers perfomance in a non-standard way.
